The African King Figurine - RARE - Thomas Blackshear Collectible

The African King Figurine - RARE

Once the Heirs, the two African Kings walk in unison across the great Savannah surveying their domain. With staff firmly in hand and dressed in a gilded violet robe, the King exudes a stately presence as the leader of his Kingdom. With strong hands he grips the leather leash connecting him to the King of beasts; as both kings convey nobility, courage and loyalty. Retired June 2007 with a final production quantity of 5,100

This unique collection of limited edition figurines emphasizes the beauty of the human form and symbolizes universal aspirations and ideals of humankind depicted through images that reflect the unique characteristics of the African American culture.
